
Rob Edwards is a microbiologist and computer scientist. He received his Ph. D. in bacterial genetics from the University of Sussex, England, and has been at the forefront of bacterial pathogenesis, genomics, and metagenomics research. Most recently, Rob is focused on using computational science to understand the role of phages in microbial evolution.
Rob is an Assistant Professor in the Computer Sciences Department and Computational Sciences Research Center, as well as an Assistant Professor in the Biology Department, at San Diego State University.
